3. How to submit a proper DMCA Takedown Notice

To help us act quickly, include all of the items below. Notices missing required elements may be rejected or delayed.

  1. An electronic or physical signature of the copyright owner or authorised agent.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work(s) claimed to be infringed (title, author, registration number if available).
  3. Identification of the allegedly infringing material (URL(s), user handle, in-app location, screenshot, timestamps).
  4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you (name, address, phone, email).
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the owner.
We recommend sending notices as structured email (subject line: DMCA Takedown Notice — [Work Title]) and attaching screenshots and links to the allegedly infringing content.

4. Takedown Process & Timelines

  • Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will review and may remove or disable access to the alleged infringing material.
  • We will notify the uploader of the content and provide information about the takedown and counter-notice process.
  • We retain copies of notices, moderation decisions, and evidence for compliance and audit (minimum 3 years).
  • We may log and share notices with transparency services (e.g., Lumen Project) or as required by law.

5. Counter-Notice Procedure (If your content was removed)

If you believe removal was due to mistake or misidentification, submit a counter-notice including:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the removed material and its original location.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, and accept service of process from the complainant.

After a valid counter-notice, we may reinstate the material within 10–14 business days unless the claimant files an action seeking a court order to restrain the alleged infringer.

6. Repeat Infringer Policy

We maintain a repeat-infringer policy. Accounts that receive multiple substantiated infringement notices may be suspended or terminated. We record strikes and actions taken; the record is used for consistent enforcement and is preserved for audit.

7. Trademark & Impersonation Complaints

To report trademark infringement or impersonation, email trademark@glimpzo.com with details (registration, jurisdiction, evidence). We may request further documentation.

8. Evidence Preservation & Logging

When a notice is received we will preserve relevant system logs and take snapshots of the content and metadata (uploader, timestamps, IPs) for a minimum period and make them available to law enforcement on lawful request.

9. Misuse of the Policy

Knowingly submitting false or bad-faith notices or counter-notices may expose the sender to liability under applicable law. We reserve the right to seek damages and to restrict access for abusive reporters.

10. Additional Rights & Safety Measures

  • We may remove or disable content outside the DMCA process to protect users or comply with local laws.
  • We use hash-based matching to prevent repeated uploads of known infringing material (where available).
  • We cooperate with law enforcement and rights holders when required by law.
